How DropSlot Works
DropSlot helps manage meeting rooms by making sure booked rooms are actually being used. The button shows you room status with colored lights and lets you confirm your presence.
Simple rule: If the button flashes red, press it to confirm you're using the room!
The Button in Action
🟢 Green = Room Free
What it means: Nobody's using the room right now.
What to do: Need a quick 5-minute chat? Press the button and the room is yours! Or just book it as usual.
🔵 Pulsing Blue = Get Ready
What it means: A meeting is starting in less than 5 minutes.
What to do: Nothing! Just be ready—your meeting starts soon.
🔴 Flashing Red = Press Now!
What it means: Your meeting just started.
What to do: Press the button within 3 minutes to confirm you're here.
🔴 Solid Red = Meeting Active
What it means: Meeting confirmed and in progress.
What to do: Leaving early? Press the button to free up the room for others.
Common Situations
❓ What if I forget to press the button?
If you don't press within 3 minutes, the meeting gets cancelled automatically and the room becomes available again.
❓ Can I book the room without using the calendar?
Yes! Press the green button for an instant 5-minute booking. It will appear in the calendar automatically.
❓ What if we finish our meeting early?
Press the solid red button before leaving. This ends the meeting and lets others know the room is free.
